Hariworld Travels celebrates Delta's inaugural New York-Mumbai flight from Nov.1

Hariworld Travels, a well-known travel consolidator in New York, hosted Delta and Kingfisher Airline representatives as well as travel industry and media representatives at an event entitled ‘An October Evening’ at the Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel in New York on Oct. 26. The event was to celebrate the inaugural non-stop flight of Delta Airlines from New York(JFK) to Mumbai starting from Nov. 1.
At the event, Marek Kusek, National Account Manager, Consolidators and Specialty sales, Delta Airlines, made a presentation detailing the special features that the airline has introduced for the route to Mumbai.
The Boeing 777-200 aircraft will carry 50 business-class and 218 economy class passengers. Delta is providing customers in the economy class with all-leather seats, enhanced for offerings including three choices of Indian meals or a choice of continental meal, a complimentary cocktail with each meal, and soon a complimentary amenity kit featuring eye shades and ear plugs.
Delta is America’s fastest growing international airline and is the world’s leading carrier between the U.S. and destinations across Europe, India and Israel with flights to 29 trans-Atlantic destinations.
Delta is partnering with Kingfisher Airlines in India to allow Kingfisher to carry all Delta guests arriving at Mumbai to their final destinations in India.
The partnership includes Interline passage, baggage, SPA, IET, thru check in of bags and loyalty program interface. From Dec.1 Kingfisher is commencing nightly flights from Mumbai International Airport to connect to Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Delhi.
